As its name indicates on the front fairing, Pagani 1948, the Sport Classic 300 is a tribute to Nello Pagani, the rider who won the first 300cc world championship on an FB Mondial in 1949, also winning the championship of the manufacturer’s world, just one year after the founding of the Italian company. In the 1950s, the title of world champion was reconfirmed for the driver and for F.B Mondial as the manufacturer.
